I really like Allen-Edmonds Maxfield shoes, they are excellent. The fit is what you expect from Allen-Edmonds, true to size and very comfortable. I have come to expect excellence from Allen-Edmonds and they don't disappoint, they are all I wear for work shoes.
Best investment for my feet ever! Okay, I know these are really pricey and I never buy expensive shoes but I saw these and really liked them. I am now wearing these around the house and they are so comfy and I did not need to break them in. I cannot wait to show these off at work tomorrow morning. If you want a good pair of work shoes, get these. You will not be disappointed!
Perfect shoes for work - I bought a brown pair of these shoes for work and liked them so much I bought a black pair as well. Only drawback is that they require a shoe horn to put on which makes them less than ideal when going thru airports.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
