Arizona Soft Footbed -- Flashback to the 70's - slipped them on the minute they arrived and haven't worn another shoe since. It didn't seem I needed much break in time and I can walk all day with them without feeling any foot fatigue. These are especially wonderful because I work on cement floors and the footbed gives even support from toe to heal and the soft footbed makes me feel as if I'm wearing slippers!
Boston -- Really like this shoe - Great casual shoes. I need to wear socks with them because they're a little loose, but a smaller size would be too tight. The insole is comfortable, arch support is almost too good. The negative heel took some getting used to - at first I could only wear them for a few hours at a time, or I'd get leg cramps at night. But now I can wear them most of the day. I wear them every day, shopping and errands, etc., notice more people wearing them too. .
Boston -- Really like this shoe - comfortable, looks good, and I get compliments on the look. Quality made, I am hooked on my birks.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
