Linden -- Not as happy as hoped - When I first put them on, they felt great. However, after wearing for just a few days, the support started to drop making the sides dig in to my ankle. The left shoe didn't settle evenly and started to impact my step.
Wess -- A perfect fit – I was skittish to spend the loot on these puppies, but they are worth their weight in leather ;) Seriously, I’m lazy, I hate tying laces so I bought these & they did not disappoint. Excellent comfort, superb craftsmanship of construction, easy to slip on & off, I wear them almost everyday & my feet never get sore from them. It took me less than a day to break these in, where as I find most shoes take close to a week until they have that “nice feel” to them. Buy a pair, buy 6!
Navi -- LOVE them!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness, this is my first Born shoes/boot. I absolutely love...love them. I live in NY so always looking for trendy, yet comfortable shoes/boot. These are the very first shoes that I have put on that needs no breaking in. They are gorgeous and sooooooo comfortable. I bought them in the dark brown. I absolutely have to get them in the black. The only bad thing is that now that I have gotten the "Born" experience, no other boots will compare. Oh, and I normally wear 9, so I got the 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. So maybe you need to go a 1/2 size up.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.

If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
