Galen -- Great looking shoe - Very stylish shoe. Comfort not the best, but tolerable. Since I'm not on my feet for long periods of time it's not an issue for me.
-- Quality Shoe - I had always heard good things about Brass Boot but never owned a pair. When I was looking for something along the lines of a Miami Vice retro type of shoe, I found these in white. Now I see why Brass Boot has the good reputation. The fit and finish are right there. Whatever color you pick, these shoes are a can't miss for the money.
Hyde -- European-designed, China-made. Stylish, but just a trifle heavier and wider than I'd hoped. I probably should be looking at B instead of C and D widths, especially in loafers, where heel slippage is invariably a problem (seems to lessen as the shoe gets broken in). Good dress shoe.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.

If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
