Crabtree & Evelyn Oxford Great slipper! I got this shoe in a L (8-9M) in the biscuit color, and I'm very pleased with it. I needed something to wear around the house, that I could also wear down the driveway to get the paper or mail etc. The shoe looks like a casual loafer/mule, but fits and wears like a comfy slipper! It's plenty wide and I have a wide foot. Sure enough, it fit perfectly. If you have a narrow foot, this would be boxy on you. Lengthwise, I normally wear a 9, and the L fit perfectly. The little design on the top is cute too.
I love these slippers - The rubber sole on this slipper is great to wear on a quick trip outside to get the paper, doesn't slip on the wood floors, but is quiet enough not to wake anybody in the morning. I put them on as soon as I get home from work.
Crabtree & Evelyn Portobello Fantastic slipper - These slippers are so comfortable. They aren’t bulky like most slippers and the soles are soft enough to curl up with them. They do run large. However, if you cut the single thread holding the bow on, you can tighten the ribbon that runs along the side to make the slipper fit your foot perfectly. You have to redo the bow and it might not look perfect, but I'd rather have the slipper fit!

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.

If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
