Frye Harness 12R W - These boots rock - These are the best stylish boots I've ever owned. I ordered my normal size 7 1/2, they were the perfect length but around the foot area they were a little it tight. I could still wiggle my toes but it just did not seem right. So I went down to a store that sold these shoes and tried on the size 8. They were way to big. After wearing the 7 1/2 for a day they stretched out and now are the perfect fit. Great quality, I've got a lot of compliments on them already.
Comfort found! I cannot say more about how amazing these boots look and feel. I have a horrible time finding shoes that I can walk in, that don't make me look like I'm an old lady. Not only are these boots comfortable but they look great with many outfits. I highly recommend this boot to anyone who does a lot of walking but doesn't want to wear sneakers every day!
Frye Engineer 12R W - Great boots - These boots are great. They don't take much breaking in, but if you wear them with short socks or no socks, the back seam might hurt at the top. I solved this by wearing taller socks or tights and by putting a little bit of first aid tape over the part of the seam that rubbed. Voila. Perfect. They look great with skirts or with pants.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
