Nagevi XCR - Good but small/tight. Just bought these shoes for a Canadian fishing/hiking trip. Though the shoes are comfortable, they are definitely a 1/2 size smaller than marked. I had to wear thin, short socks instead of the heavier wool ones during the 30 degree days. They kept my feet dry and had good traction on most of the mossy rock formations which were climbed over. Pretty well broken in right out of the box.

A comfortable shoe to walk in all day. I am happy with the shoes and the fit. Though I have to wear it with thin socks. If you want medium thick socks order 1/2 size bigger. They are comfortable to walk in. I plan to mountain bike with them too. I put on some clear wax shoe polish on the suede; it looks fine, though at first it is dark then it returns to its lighter grey color. The cushion in the ball of the foot and heel feel great. It fits well. The shoe has good traction on dirt and gravel as well as pavement. They are easy to drive the car in too. These shoes feel good to wear. I walked an hour this morning and it was easy. I plan to wear thin merino wool socks with these shoes; but they are comfortable with thin cotton socks so far.

Hillbilly on the Appalachian Trail - These shoes are great on the off-road. They do tend to make your feet a little tired after a full day of hiking in the mountains (10hrs). The Vibram bottoms let your feet glid over rocks with great traction and the gortex waterproof is wonderful.

    Width Sizing / Shoe Sizing

    Women's Shoe Widths

    Men's Shoe Widths

    X-Narrow Narrow Standard Wide X-Wide XX-Wide

What width & size are you?

  • The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
  • If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
  • If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
  • If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
  • Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.

    Sizing Tips

  • The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
  • Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
  • Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
  • Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
  • Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
  • Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
