Inov-8 RocLite 315 - I wore these shoes for hiking in the Alps. They worked great - good traction and very comfortable. I got these from Zappos the day before I left, after trying and returning several pairs of hiking boots which either didn't fit or just weren't comfortable. I have an AAA foot, which is quite hard to fit, but found the heel of these shoes fit snugly, and I could lace them up narrow enough to fit well on my foot. Also, since they're much lighter and smaller than most hiking boots, they were easy to pack. The only drawback was that they aren't waterproof, and they got pretty wet when I hiked in a cold drizzle. I still would rate them highly, but will enjoy them more in dry weather.
Inov-8 FlyRoc 310 - Good training shoe. This is a good training shoe and it is very light, but I would use a lighter style for racing.
Best made trail shoe - The Fly Roc 310 is the most durable, supportive and thoughtfully made trail shoe that I've used. It laces and secures the fit without loosening, is easy to put on and remove, excels in construction and appearance. The soles self clean better than New Balance or Adidas and the design is clean and without unnecessary decoration. I look forward to obtaining other Inov-8 styles.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
