Josef Seibel Bailey - These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are exactly as described: snug on the ankle and heel and very roomy in the toes. The toebed and heel are well cushioned, but the shoes are also supportive. The roomy full leather toebox has kept my feet warm and dry. They breathe with no sweating. I think they may be more comfortable than my New Balance 991s. They make me want to go for walks. They also appear very well made and durable, and are surprisingly good looking.
Josef Seibel Ballard Incredible comfort - My husband loves these shoes. I purchased both the black and the tan. Last week-end he fell off of a ladder and broke his ankle. While in a cast, he alternates between both colors, wearing only one shoe. They are so easy to put on and take off and they still are very attractive as he is a business man. Every one of his office peers has commented on how much they like the look of the shoe.-
Josef Seibel Burgess - Joseph Seibel Burgess- A Comfortable Cut Above - I'd been looking at Seibel's for years and waiting for a sale on a style I can use- I finally bought the Burgess in black when they went on sale. I am happy to report that these shoes are comfortable for my very sensitive feet. I need a lot of padding and support on the bottom of my feet, and these shoes are as comfortable as I've ever worn in a dressy casual shoe. They are quite roomy in the front and top of the foot- I take between a 45 and 46 usually; in these I fit a 45. A slim orthotic on the bottom creates a perfect firm, but roomy, fit. The leather is of the best quality-- vegetable tanned all the way through- so they will wear tough, even though they are very soft and pliable at the same time. They are broken in from the start. If you're looking for a very comfortable shoe with first-class construction, these shoes are an excellent value - on sale or at full price.
