Warm Winter Boots - I ordered the Kamik Stronghold insulated boots just in time for the worst of our New Hampshire winter. The boots have proved to be extremely warm even when snowshoeing for hours at below zero temperatures. I don't know how I managed to get through winter before Kamic boots. One improvement that Kamik came can make is to substitute a tougher nylon tie in place of the elasticized ties that are used for tightening the snow cuffs at the top of the boots. The flimsy elasticized ties failed after a few weeks of use.
Kamik Powder - Great snow/winter boot - I was hesitant to purchase these because I am used to buying winter boots from brands that I familiar with, but once I got these boots, I loved them!! They are super comfy, extremely easy to put on, really light but sturdy, and they are not as bulky as most pull-on winter boots. I have worn them with pants, jeans and skirts. I really wanted a pair of snow/winter boots that I could wear to work and leave on all day...you can with these. I was very pleased.
Kamik Kayle - Great snow boot - I bought this boot for a skiing trip. It was a great choice and good value for money. Very easy on and off. It kept my feet warm and dry on slushy surfaces. The fuzzy lining got a bit hot when I was indoors. Curiously, it "ate my socks," if they weren't the over-the-calf type, a phenomenon I haven't experienced in years. The fur at the top caused my (regular) pants to twist at the ankle when I walked - also a new experience. Overall, a good boot which I plan to wear for years.
