In 1999, Mike and Rick introduced Lakai Limited Footwear for the discerning skater and fashion concious individual who wants to be different. The designers attacked the shoe styles with the same dedication and pride they have always invested into their skateboarding and the Girl/Chocolate brands. Simply stated, they are “The Shoes We Skate”.

    Lakai Lakai - Shop Online

Lakai features signature footwear represented by riders such as Anthony Pappalardo, Brandon Biebel, Danny Garcia, Marc Johnson, Rick Howard, Scott Johnston, Jeff Lenoce, Cairo Foster, Mike Carrol and Rob Welsh. With innovative design and construction, Lakai is on top of their game in skate footwear.

Shoe - If you've got the Howard Select's already, it's pretty much the exact same shoe. They're pretty durable. Ever since I've bought Lakai’s I haven't bought any other kind of shoes. Skating is amazing in these shoes. Buy um.

Telford - Holding up well after a week of skating - I was looking for a solid mid-to-high skate shoe with good ankle support, but something that looked good too. I was stoked to see the Telford offered both. After the shoe arrived, I was somewhat bummed at first because the sole of the shoe looked higher than the picture (I hate shoes with tall soles). It also doesn't look as cool when you tuck your jeans behind the tongue cuz' they're high tops, but you def get used to it after a few days of skating and breaking them in. Now I don't even notice it. I had to take the arch supports out because I have flat feet and it was killing my arches- but they peel out no problem. Overall, this has been a great purchase.

Love these shoes - Lakai Telford, Black/White- I loved these shoes they were so great. This was my first Hi-Top shoe and I loved it. They were so comfortable and I loved the look. So did all of my friends...I impressed them so much. I wore them with the tongue out to give it an "old-school" look. Buy these shoes before everyone else does!!

Lakai is one of the most popular footwear designers for skateboarding champs. Several skating stars wear the Lakai brand in competitions because they say they are the best. They offer flat, wide soles for the most traction possible. This is necessary when performing tricks on a skateboard. The Lakai shoes also have great designs and colors that catch they eyes of any onlooker. The most important technical aspect of skateboarding is the feet. If you want people looking at your feet, they better be wearing something attractive to look at. Lakai footwear realizes this and makes their colors bold and their designs attractive. The Lakai Company constantly strives to improve upon their designs. Each year they come out with new and improved skate shoe styles. This year they are coming out with fifteen new styles in October and 12 new styles in November. Lakai realizes the skateboarding sport is competitive, so the skateboarding footwear arena must be as well. Famous skaters such as Brandon Biebel, Rick Howard, and Cairo Foster sport Lakai footwear because they believe they are the best quality skate shoes for the money. The professionals depend on Lakai footwear to provide quality and style for their feet.

    Width Sizing / Shoe Sizing

    Women's Shoe Widths
    4A 2A B D 2E 4E
    X-Narrow Narrow Standard Wide X-Wide XX-Wide
    Men's Shoe Widths
    2A B D 2E 4E 6E
    X-Narrow Narrow Standard Wide X-Wide XX-Wide

What width & size are you?

  • The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
  • If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
  • If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
  • If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
  • Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.

    Sizing Tips

  • The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
  • Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
  • Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
  • Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
  • Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
  • Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
