Great Shoe! I bought these for my fashionisto husband. He has been in love with his black Jack Purcell’s but these shoes have rated with him, too. The fact that they don't look like American shoes rates with him and is nice if you are trying to be low-key when you travel abroad these days. He says they are very comfortable, and do well with more formal and less formal clothes. The shoes are wearing well, and seem to have more arch support compared to the Purcell’s. They might accommodate small/thin orthotics...we don't really know much about orthotics so I am not sure. A great shoe overall. I would buy these again!
A year old, beat up, and still incredible!!! I had always steered away from the Converse-style shoes, so was initially a bit leery of these. However, I got 'em, broke 'em in, and a year later, have worn them almost every day. No complaints. They have holes in each sole now, but that's because I couldn't go a day without them! Very comfortable, more so than other Allstar-ish shoes, and very durable. The vegan construction is awesome too. I have a pair of vegan Bonhams too. Bravo Macbeth!
Awesome! I'm vegan and REALLY appreciate a company that provides good looking vegan shoes. I'm a big fan of the black on black converse, and these shoes are a super awesome replacement for those. My only problem with them is the same problem I have with converse. They are a tiny bit too big for me, due to no half sizes available, so they are a little uncomfortable before you break them in. If I wear them for too long at one time then I develop a blister on my heel. As long as a wear a band aid or thick socks for the first few weeks while I break them in, then I am fine. One big plus these have over converse is the insole is SUPER comfortable, and they come in way cooler color combinations. My husband has the same shoes in the black and gumwall combo, and he is 100% satisfied. They don't rub or give him blisters anywhere (like they do me) since they fit him perfectly.
