The Sorel® name has been associated with the development and distribution of durable, cold-weather footwear for nearly 40 years. When first introduced, the unique boots with the rubber bottoms, leather tops and warm felt sock liners met the market with phenomenal success. Sorel continues to set industry standards for quality, performance and comfort. For people who live and work outdoors from hunters, skiers and winter campers, to lumberjacks, explorers and bush pilots the name Sorel® is synonymous with quality, durability and value. Launched more than 40 years ago, Sorel designs, develops and markets rugged footwear and apparel for outdoor industrial and recreational use. Sorel debuted in 1962 with a line of rugged boots designed to withstand challenging weather conditions. The brands flagship Caribou boot with its waterproof rubber shell, leather upper and removable felt liner quickly became a favorite of outdoor lovers across North America and is still one of the Companys most popular styles. Sorels popularity extended to other markets as additional footwear styles for men, women and children were introduced, including leather work boots, walking shoes, and indoor leisure footwear. Sorel now provides year-round functionality and fashion for the entire family.
The best winter boot! I’ve worn this model boot for 25 years. I’ve tried others but this is by far the warmest, most comfortable, most waterproof, longest lasting and most versatile of all. Works from the first snow through the mud season. Great for snow shoeing too. I like this shoe so much I keep an extra new pair on hand in case they ever stop making them. Nice and roomy so your feet don’t lose circulation like they do in close boots = cold feet.
Warm in Utah winters - This boot is great - my toes are perpetually cold - but these boots have kept them toasty through a cold Utah winter and lots of snow! I have found them to lack a little support and a little voluminous - but I also have relatively narrow and flat feet - so I slipped an insole in them and they're perfect! I wear an 8-8.5 shoe - and the 8 is plenty long...
I love my new Sorel’s! Can't go wrong with these for snowy weather. They are not the most feminine looking boot but there is no substitute. Your feet will always be warm and toasty.
Anyone looking for an affordable, top of the line boot will not have to look any further once they try on a pair of Sorel boots. These fantastic boots have been around for nearly half a century. With the quality materials and attention to comfort that goes into each pair of Sorel boots it is obvious why they have lasted so long. No matter what style of cold-weather footwear you are looking for, you are sure to find the right pair of Sorel boots for you. Not only do they carry quality boots, liners and socks for men and women, but they also have great styles for kids too! Sorel quality is like no other.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
