Allyson Cordani took matters into her own hands many years ago and created a pair of shoes that has led to a collection of footwear that is fashionable yet comfortable enough to walk, work and play in. It all started with Allyson and Michael, who lived in the heart of Boston's historic Beacon Hill. It was on these winding alleys and cobblestone passageways that Allyson learned the hard way the importance of comfortable footwear. After months of withstanding throbbing, blistering feet wearing shoes that looked fashionable but could not withstand the bumps and grinds of city walking, Allyson did something about it. Today Cordani continues to do something about improving the shoes you wear from the feel to the style. Using the finest materials and premier Italian craftsmanship combined with American technology and design, Cordani shoes presents comfortable, gorgeous footwear that's a treat to wear. From the Cordani family, nothing but the best, just like Allyson all those years ago Cordani will find a better way.

It all started with Allyson and Michael, who lived in a small flat on a gas lantern-lit lane, nestled in the heart of Boston's historic Beacon Hill. It was on these winding alleys and cobblestone passageways that Allyson learned the hard way the importance of comfortable footwear. After months of withstanding throbbing, blistering feet wearing shoes that looked fashionable but could not withstand the bumps and grinds of city walking, Allyson decided to take matters into her own hands. To create a collection of footwear that is fashionable yet comfortable enough to walk, work and play in. And what better place to look than in the country of Michael's heritage - Italy, where shoemaking has become an art form - where resources in leathers and materials are unparalleled.
Cordani Boothbay Sigar - Great for hard to fit "duck feet" wide in toe area narrow mid foot and heel. Very comfortable fit and the gentle elastic makes the fit perfect. Unfortunately for me, I have "princess and the pea" feet, if a shoe isn't exactly right, it will cause me severe problems. In this case the arch support placement is slightly wrong for my temperamental and hard to fit feet. I may reorder to see if it was just this particular pair. If the arches were back 1/2 inch I would buy them in every color.
Rich looking - I like this shoe because I've tried this style in many less expensive brands that fanned out at sides. My foot is narrow and these fit, clinging to the sides of my feet. Also, there's a little arch support which is unusual. Only complaint is they were (and still are - 1st day) tight in the back on heel but they've already stretched and I think they will even more. Expensive but worth it. I only wish I'd gotten the red just for something different, am considering.
Great flat with excellent arch support! I love this shoe! I have flat feet and need proper arch support so I have a hard time finding good, cute ballet flats. However, this shoe is perfect. Very comfortable, I can wear it all day (it did take a few times to break in). I highly recommend it.

What width & size are you?
The general rule is that standard Men's width is D. For Women, the standard width is B. If most of the shoes you have purchased in the past have a comfortable width then go with the default.
If the shoes you are wearing feel overly wide, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. Shop For Narrow Shoes.
If the shoes you wear tend to feel narrow, then you should consider selecting a wider width size. Shop For Wide Shoes
If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.
Sizing Tips
The heel should not slip, the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes.
Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
Feet typically get bigger with age. People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big.
Boots are often worn with bulky socks, while sandals are hopefully not. Sizing may be affected with how much extra padding you have.
Heat makes your feet swell and cold may shrink them. Think about temperature when choosing sizes.
Fully utilize a the return policy by ordering multiple sizes, then keep what fits best and return the rest.
